Finn Balor & Damian Priest Vs The Dirty Dawgs

We start with Roode and Priest and Bobby backs him into the corner and unloads with right hands. Priest prevents the tag to Ziggler and looks to tag Finn but Roode knocks him off the apron. Priest ducks a lariat and htis a leg lariat. Ziggler runs in but Priest clocks him and hits a flapjack. Priest hits a back elbow to Dolph, then boots Rodde off the apron. Ziggler is then thrown over the ropes and Priest jumps off the steps onto both.

We return to see Balor and Dolph tag in. Finn runs over Dolph with forearms and knocks Roode off the apron. Balor hits Dolph in the corner, then lands a spinning elbow drop DDT. Roode and Priest brawl on the floor and Bobby catches him with a spinebuster. Balor knocks Dolph out of the ring, then dives over the ropes onto both the Dawgs!

Balor gets Ziggler back inside and hits the shotgun dropkick, then goes up top but Austin Theory appears on the apron and takes a selfie. Balor jumps off the ropes and clotheslines Theory. Ziggler takes advantage and hits the ZigZag for the pinfall!

Winners: The Dirty Dawgs

After the match, Theory gets in the ring and takes some selfies with a downed Balor until Priest runs in and he bails.

United States Championship: Damian Priest Vs Robert Roode

They lock-up and Roode forces Priest back to the corner and digs him in the stomach and kicks him. Priest throws Roode into the corner and unloads with right hands, then connects with a nasty headbutt. Roode is shot into the buckles, then punched backwards and hit with a flying back elbow. Priest misses a splash in the corner but boots Roode down. Ziggler tries to interfere and Priset goes outside to intimidate him but Roode tosses him over the barricade into the fans.

Back live and Roode drops Priest for a two-count. Priest starts firing off right hands and splashes Roode in the corner. Roode coutners a falcon arrow but eats a lariat. Priest does hit the falcon arrow for a near-fall. He looks for another lariat but gets caught with a backstabber. Roode chops the throat but Priest fires back with a flurry of kicks. Damian attempts a springboard but Roode counters with a spinebuster for a near-fall. Priest snatches him for The Reckoning and the win.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the bell, Ziggler attacks Priest when he’s posing. The Dawgs leave together and Priest looks furious.

Damian Priest Vs Apollo Crews

They lock-up and Priest lifts and slams Crews. They lock-up again and this time Priest takes him down with an armlock. Crews fights up and punches him. Priest is sent from the ring and he stares down Commander Azeez but Crews comes flying through the ropes with a suicide dive to take him out.

Crews hits Priest with a spin-out powerbomb, then a standing moonsault for a near-fall. Priest starts fighting back and connects with a knee. Crews lands a enziguiri but Priest fires back with a big lariat. Priest lifts Crews and hits a cliffhanger DDT, then Crews rolls out. Priest looks to dive out of the ring but Azeez drags Crews out of the way. Priest jumps off the steps onto Apollo and gets him back inside.

Priest goes to the top rope but Commander Azeez pulls him down. The referee pieces together what happened and ejects him from ringside. Priest’s “devil” wakes up and he makes lots of weird faces, then rushes Crews, beating him down in the corner before hitting a south-of-Heaven chokeslam. Priest hits The Reckoning for the win.

Damian Priest is interviewed backstage by Kevin Patrick. As to why he attacked T-Bar last week, Priest says he had no issue with him until T-Bar threw a chair in his face. He has no problem throwing hands and getting rough, but disrespect him and he’ll hurt you. Tonight, with no holds barred, T-Bar will get to meet the Damian in him.

No Holds Barred: Damian Priest
The two big men start throwing hands right out the gate and the action spills out of the ring. T-Bar beats Priest against the announce desk but then gets whipped hard into the barricade. Priest pulls a table out and slides it into the ring but T-Bar then connects with a pump kick. Priest fires back and sets the table up at ringside, then grabs T-Bar but gets beaten down. T-Bar lifts Priest and looks to powerbomb him but Damian fights himself free.

T-Bar gets back in the ring and pulls Priest up onto the apron, then tries to knock him off through the table. T-Bar misses a big boot and Priest kicks him down. Priest goes up top but T-Bar connects with a boot, then climbs up and lifts him onto his shoulders. T-Bar hits an avalanche Samoan drop and both men are down as we head to the break.

Back live and they’re trading blows, with Mace getting the better of the exchange. Priest backs him into the corner and hits a back elbow. Priest connects with a boot and a falcon arrow for a near-fall. Priest goes to the midle rope but T-Bar grabs him and hits a backbreaker for a two-count. T-Bar ties Priest’s arms in the ropes, then goes outside to get a Kendo stick and a chair. T-Bar batters Priest’s torso with the Kendo and it shatters.

He looks to stab Priest with it but gets kicked away, then Damian breaks free and clotheslines him inside out. Priest grabs hold of the steel chair and beats T-Bar with it relentlessly, then chokeslams him off the apron through the table! Priest screams before going out and slowly dragging T-Bar’s lifeless body back into the ring. Priest lifts T-Bar up and hits the Final Reckoning for the win.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match, Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez come out. Apollo congratulates Priest and says that was a proper fight. Crews says he and Azeez are here to inject RAW with some new life and it won’t be long until he meets Priest in combat.

WWE United States Champion Damian Priest vs. T-Bar
T-Bar forearms Priest in a face a few times. Priest quickly stops a whip and claps the ear. Priest sets up for The Reckoning, but T-Bar powers Priest up and kicks him down for a near fall. T-Bar attacks Priest’s spine, but Priest fights back. Priest sidesteps a kick and goes for a chokeslam. T-Bar fights it and elbows him. T-Bar hits a chokeslam backbreaker for a near fall. T-Bar goes to the top rope and connects with a moonsault for a two count. Priest soon responds with some forearms and knocks him back. Priest hits a running back elbow followed by a rough looking Broken Arrow. Priest clotheslines him out of the ring and goes outside to get him. T-Bar throws a commentator’s chair at Priest for the disqualification!

Winner by Disqualification: WWE United States Champion Damian Priest
Priest is infuriated and turns T-Bar inside out with a clothesline. Priest slams the chair down onto him and throws him into the barricade. Priest throws T-Bar hard into the ring post, and he falls onto the ring steps. Priest spikes T-Bar in the ring with The Reckoning.

WWE United States Title Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Damian Priest

We go right to the ring and out comes Jeff Hardy to a big pop. He will face WWE United States Champion Damian Priest next. Hardy gets pyro and greets fans as he heads to the ring. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Adam Pearce is on the stage with Sonya Deville. They announce that the first pick of the first round of the WWE Draft Night 2 is RAW selecting SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. SmackDown picks SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos to stay on the show. We see The Usos and Paul Heyman backstage. RAW selects Bobby Lashley to stay on the show. SmackDown picks Sasha Banks to stay on the show. We go back to the ring and out comes WWE United States Champion Damian Priest for this title defense.

Back and forth to start the match. Priest levels Hardy with a huge kick to send him to the floor. Priest follows but Hardy fights back with strikes. Hardy runs the apron and leaps off but Priest dodges the splash to the floor. Hardy lands hard at ringside as the referee counts and Priest returns to the ring. Priest goes to leap out but puts the brakes on. Priest runs around the ring and leaps over the steel ring steps, taking Hardy back down at ringside. Priest stands tall and yells out as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Priest is going for a back superplex but Hardy knocks him to the mat. Hardy with a big Whisper In the Wind for a close 2 count. They tangle and Priest levels Hardy with a big kick. They block The Reckoning and a Twist of Fate. Hardy drops Priest with a clothesline, then a Twist of Fate.

Hardy goes to the top as fans cheer him on. Hardy nails the Swanton Bomb but he’s a bit slow to make the cover after landing somewhat awkwardly. Priest kicks out and rolls Hardy right over for the pin to retain.

Winner: Damian Priest

– After the match, Priest stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays. Priest and Hardy show each other respect before Priest leaves and we get another replay. Sarah Schreiber interviews Hardy in the ring after the match, asking about his draft pick to SmackDown.

No Disqualifications and No Count Outs for the WWE United States Title: Sheamus vs. Damian Priest

We go back to the ring for a “No DQ, No Count Out” match as WWE United States Champion Damian Priest comes out. We saw how he retained over Jeff Hardy and Sheamus in a Triple Threat at Extreme Rules last night. Priest sends a warning to Sheamus in a pre-recorded backstage promo and says this has nothing to do with last night. Priest poses in the ring as we go back to commercials.

Back from the break and the announcers hype the 2022 Royal Rumble taking place in St. Louis. The Steel Cage match is confirmed and hyped up for tonight. Kevin Patrick is backstage with The New Day now. WWE Champion Big E issues a warning to Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. He goes on about calling his shot in recent months, and says he will do it again tonight as he will walk out with the WWE Title. We go back to the ring and see the Steel Cage hanging high as Sheamus makes his way out. We get a pre-recorded promo where Sheamus says this match is made for him as he’s the best brawler in the business. He says this match won’t be pretty, it will be pretty ugly, and you should tell grandma and the kids not to watch. Sheamus goes on and says tonight he will get back what is rightfully his.

We get formal ring introductions from Rome. The bell rings and they lock up, going into the ropes and then the corner. Priest forces them out and then into the ropes again. They lock back up and Priest wails away with Sheamus’ arm tied up. Sheamus takes Priest down and elbows him, grounding him with a headlock now. Sheamus takes Priest back down with a headlock. Sheamus holds Priest down for a headlock. They fight back up and Priest keeps Sheamus’ arm tied up. Sheamus fights out and clubs Priest in the back a few times, putting him down. Priest fights back and delivers a Broken Arrow with a quick 1 count.

They end up on the floor with Sheamus beating Priest around. Priest blocks a suplex on the floor and delivers one of his own. Priest ends up leveling Sheamus with a boot. Priest pulls a table from under the ring as fans pop. He stands it up but Sheamus drops him. Sheamus tosses Priest over the steel ring steps and re-positions the table at ringside. Priest comes back flying off the steps with a Superman Punch. Sheamus gets the upperhand and brings it back in the ring for 10 Beats of The Bodhrán but Priest fights back.

Priest tries to knock Sheamus off the apron through the table but Sheamus fights back. Sheamus scoops Priest on the apron and puts him through the ringside table with White Noise. They’re both laid out in the table debris as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Sheamus is beating Priest with a kendo stick in the middle of the ring. Sheamus uses the stick to pull back on Priest with a modified Dublin Smile now. Sheamus keeps control and works Priest over as fans boo. Sheamus with a big powerslam for a close 2 count. Priest fights back and knocks Sheamus to the apron but Sheamus fights back and climbs to the top. Sheamus mocks Priest on the top and flies, but Priest hits him with a kendo stick in mid-air. Priest unloads with kendo stick shots now as fans cheer him on. Priest knocks Sheamus out of the ring. Priest follows and dives into Sheamus and the barrier.

Priest gets a pop but Sheamus runs him into the ring post face-first, then launches him into the barrier. Sheamus brings a steel chair in but Priest fights him and unloads with lefts and rights, then a big kick. Priest goes to springboard but Sheamus clubs him and launches him face-first into a chair that was wedged in the corner. Sheamus with a big Alabama Slam for a close 2 count.

Sheamus stands tall and plays to the crowd for boos. He goes for a Brogue Kick but Priest levels him, throwing a steel chair in his face. Priest hits South of Heaven for a close 2 count. Priest shows some frustration now. They trade big strikes from their knees now. Priest gets the upperhand and nails two jumping kicks. Priest goes to springboard again but avoids a Brogue. Priest levels Sheamus with a clothesline. Priest with another big kick to the face from the apron. Priest comes in from the apron but runs right into a jumping knee strike. Sheamus covers for a close 2 count.

Sheamus gets up first and delivers kendo stick shots. Priest blocks a shot and hits the Bell Clap, then a kick. Sheamus counters a move and goes to powerslam Priest through a leaning table in the corner but it’s blocked. They tangle back & forth and Priest sends Sheamus head-first through the leaning table in the corner. Priest yells out for a pop and then drops Sheamus with The Reckoning for the pin to retain.

Winner: Damian Priest

– After the match, the music hits as Priest stands tall. We go to replays. Priest climbs the corner and raises the title in the air as Sheamus recovers.

Sheamus Vs. Jeff Hardy

Damian Priest is on commentary for this one because if Hardy wins he gets added to the United States Championship match on Sunday. The bell rings and they lock-up with Sheamus forcing Jeff to the corner. They battle back-and-forth early on and Hardy hits a dropkick. Jeff backs Sheamus into the corner and grabs a headlock but Sheamus clubs him.

Sheamus is sent to the apron where Jeff elbows him and hits a Stunner on the ropes. Hardy jumps off the steel steps but gets caught and Sheamus dumps him on the apron. Sheamus rips his protective mask off and throws it, then clotheslines Hardy on the apron.

Hardy blocks a back suplex and some right hands before taking Sheamus down for a leg-drop and dropkick. Hardy hits a Russian leg sweep and goes to the middle rope for a splash and a two-count. Hardy drop toe holds Sheamus into the turnbuckles, then wants a rope-assisted dropkick but Sheamus boots him in mid-air. Sheamus goes to the top rope and he’s bleeding from somewhere.

Sheamus hits a flying clothesline for a near-fall. Sheamus wants White Noise but Jeff breaks free and looks for Twist of Fate but Sheamus htis a pump knee for a near-fall. Sheamus stumbles around, his nose busted bad, and Jeff kicks him back and lands a Twist of Fate. Jeff wants a Swanton but Sheamus gets his knees up. Sheamus looks for a Brogue Kick but Jeff rolls him up for the win!

Winner: Jeff Hardy

United States Championship: Damian Priest Vs Jeff Hardy

The title match gets underway and Sheamus has joined the commentary team. Hardy kicks Priest but gets whipped to the ropes and hit with a flying elbow. Jeff fires back with a dropkick to the knee, then an atomic drop and a leg drop to the groind followed by a dropkick and elbow drop. Hardy hits a mule kick that sends Priest out of the ring but the Champion drags him to the apron.

Hardy kicks Priest back and dives off the apron with a clothesline. Hardy gets Priest back into the ring but Damian sends him to the apron, then boots him off. Priest stands on the middle rope and flips off onto Hardy. Sheamus gets up to argue with Priest as we head to the commercial break.

Back live and Priest wants to hit Jeff with a back superplex but Hardy turns it around for a crossbody and landed flush on Priest’s neck. They slowly climb to their feet and trade punches and Hardy hits a unique pin for a near-fall. Priest lands some right hands but Hardy caches him with a slingblade for another near-fall. Jeff kicks Priest and goes to the middle rope for a splash and a two-count.

Again they trade blows and Priest knocks him back with elbows. Hardy kicks Priest and hits the ropes but Damian lands a spinning heel kick for a near-fall. Priest goes to the top rope but Hardy attacks him and climbs up alongside. Priest drops to the apron and kicks Jeff off, then stands on the ropes and jumps off with a leg lariat. Priest wants the Reckoning but Hardy rolls him up for a near-fall. Hardy wants a Twist of Fate but Priest counters with the Reckoning for the win!

Winner: Damian Priest

Sheamus attacks Priest the second the bell rings. Sheamus attacks him into the corner, then knocks Jeff from the ring with a Brogue kick. Sheamus shouts about getting his gold back, then runs at Priest but Damian connects with a Brogue kick of his own! Sheamus rolls out and screams “I hate you”.

#1 Contender’s Match: Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre

We go back to the ring and out comes Drew McIntyre with his sword, Angela. McIntyre gets pyro and hits the ring to pose for another explosion. The winner of this match will challenge WWE United States Champion Damian Priest at Extreme Rules. We see what happened last week during the Triple Threat. Out next comes Sheamus, still wearing his face mask.

The bell rings and Drew isn’t interested in a handshake, disrespecting Sheamus in his face instead. Sheamus takes Drew down with a headlock and holds them there. We see Priest backstage watching the match on a monitor. Drew ends up turning it around and delivering big chops, then into the corner. They tangle on the apron and Sheamus begins 10 Beats of The Bodhrán. Drew turns it around and delivers big forearms to the apron. Drew ends up on the floor. Sheamus goes to the top and delivers a flying clothesline. Sheamus brings it back in the ring but Drew catches him with a big Spinebuster for a close 2 count. Sheamus ends up turning it around in the corner. Sheamus climbs up as Drew continues fighting back. Sheamus finally hits the big superplex as fans pop. They fail to capitalize as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and they’re going at it. Drew levels Sheamus with clotheslines. Drew catches Sheamus with an overhead suplex. Drew with more offense now. Sheamus overpowers and goes to the top but Drew meets him with a super throw from the top to the mat. Somehow Sheamus kicks out right before the 3 count. Sheamus blocks the Futureshock DDT but Drew blocks the Alabama Slam.

Drew comes right back with a Glasgow Kiss headbutt but Sheamus takes it and levels Drew for a 2 count with a headbutt of his own. Sheamus with the Alabama Slam for a close 2 count. Sheamus stands tall in the corner now and plays to the crowd for boos. Sheamus calls for Drew’s Claymore, mocking him. Drew with a clothesline and a Futureshock DDT for a close 2 count. Drew sits up on his knees and shows some frustration now. Drew waits in the corner but Sheamus blocks. They tangle and Sheamus gets sent into the ring post. Drew ends up taking Sheamus down in an arm submission.

Sheamus makes it to the bottom rope to break the submission but he’s yelling out in pain. Drew yanks the hurt arm over the top rope.Drew goes to the top but has to roll through as Sheamus moves. Sheamus comes right back with the pump knee strike but Drew kicks out at 2. Drew blocks the Cloverleaf Submission and rolls Sheamus for 2. Drew rocks Sheamus and delivers Sheamus’ own move, White Noise. Sheamus still kicks out at 2. They’re both on their knees in the middle of the ring trading shots.

Drew ends up taking Sheamus’ mask off and delivering a big boot to the face as Sheamus pleads from his knees. Drew charges with a Claymore but Sheamus side-steps and rolls Drew up with a handful of tights for the pin to win and become the new #1 contender.

Winner and New #1 Contender to WWE United States Champion Damian Priest: Sheamus

– After the match, Sheamus stands tall as his music hits. They face off in the middle of the ring now. Sheamus wants his mask back. Drew ends up leveling him with a Claymore Kick for a big pop. We go back to commercial. Sheamus vs. Priest is official for Extreme Rules. We see Sheamus flat on his back in the ring as Drew marches up the ramp. Kevin Patrick stops Priest in the back, and he’s laughing at what happened to Sheamus. Priest says he’s seen a lot of matches and fights in his life, but that was a fight, and that’s why he likes squaring up with these guys because they can go. He expects no less from Sheamus at Extreme Rules. He knows something Sheamus doesn’t know – he has Sheamus’ number and Extreme Rules will end with Sheamus on his back.
